Course Description

    Technology Education is an activity-based course that centers around "learning by design" and focuses on the application of the tools, materials and processes of communication, manufacturing, construction, transportation, creative thinking, invention and design.  Students will study the ways materials, energy, and information are processed to transmit information, build structures, make products, and move passengers and freight.
 

Objectives.
 1. Accurately read a ruler.
 2. Develop basic skills in a variety of technical areas.
 3. Develop skills in using the problem solving method.
 4. Work in a safe and cooperative manner.
 5. Improve organizational skills.
