Hello! My name is Karen Stover. This school year marks my sixth year at Lower Dauphin in 6th grade learning support; however, it has been twelve years since I last taught here full-time! For the past decade, I stayed at home, raising my two kids, Jemma and James, as well as substituting and teaching preschool locally. I am so excited to be returning my former classroom for the 2023-2024 school year. I am married to Jeff and we live in the district, in Conewago township.
I graduated from Millersville University and am certified in elementary education, special education, and secondary English. I enjoy middle schoolers and their perspective on life - they keep me young and open-minded!
I love music! I play the piano, sing, and attempt to play songs on my ukelele! I also love gardening in the summertime and traveling with my family as much as possible. This past year we went skiing in Colorado; it was fantastic!
