About Mrs.Weimer
I am looking forward to starting my 19th year this year at Lower Dauphin Middle School teaching 8th grade physical science. Before coming to Lower Dauphin, I graduated with a degree in biology from Bucknell University. Then I moved back to my hometown of Plymouth Meeting, PA to work in clinical research for a year. After that I moved out to beautiful central PA to get my teaching certificate at Millersville University and I am currently certified in biology and general science. In May of 2009, I graduated from Lebanon Valley College with my Master's degree in science education. In May of 2018, I received my STEM endorsement and then in May of 2022, I received my Online Learning endorsement, both from Lebanon Valley College.
I have been married for 19 years now and have a 14-year-old son named Evan and an 12-year-old daughter named Natalie. Evan loves running cross-country and track, is involved with Boy Scouts, and he plays his tuba in his school marching band as well as numerous other band ensembles. Natalie is on a gymnastics team, loves watching cooking shows, does Girl Scouts, and she plays the saxophone. We have loved every minute we've been able to spend with our kids and look forward to watching them continue to grow.
Besides spending time with my family, my other loves are boating, traveling, swimming, walking with my family, skiing, playing handbells and the piano, and reading. I look forward to getting to know all of you this coming year as well!
