Student Laptop Expectations

 

  • Rember to take your laptop home daily and charge it overnight
  • Immediately report issues with your laptop to your teacher or the Help Nest
  • Carry the laptop appropriately (not by the screen)
  • Use the laptop appropriately - only school appropriate content permitted
  • Use the district-issued carrying case
  • Know where the Help Nest is located
  • Only use your own laptop
  • Do not give out your password to others
  • Follow shutdown procedures when turning off your laptop
  • Do not have food or drinks near the laptop
  • Remember that computer/internet activity is always accessible by administration
  • At the teacher’s discretion, students may use social media, music, and/or games for educational purposes
  • Personalization (stickers, etc.) are only permitted on the carrying case. Do not write on the carrying case.


If you do not follow these expectations, you may be subject to progressive discipline or charged for damages caused to your laptop.
